Common questions
Exercises won't generate. Generation happens on our server, so the app needs an internet connection. If you're online and it still fails, try again in a minute — the server may be waking up — then email us if it persists.
Practice mode can't hear my piano. The note-by-note practice mode uses your device's microphone. Make sure Notespawn has microphone permission (Settings › Notespawn on iOS) and that you're in a reasonably quiet room. Audio is analyzed on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere.
Can I get the same exercise on two devices? Yes — every exercise has a piece code (seed). Enter the same code on any device to get the identical exercise.
Feature requests are welcome at the same email. Notespawn is actively developed and teacher feedback shapes the roadmap.
